Jill Friedman Fixler is a nationally known leader recognized for her innovative approaches to strengthening nonprofit organizations. She combines her skills as a trainer, facilitator, public speaker, and coach to promote excellence in volunteer engagement, strategic planning, and board and organizational development for nonprofit organizations across the United States and Canada. Jill has more than thirty years of experience. The list of nonprofits with which she works includes: health and human services organizations; community centers; faith-based organizations; government; and cultural, environmental, and animal welfare organizations. Jill is a frequent presenter at national and regional conferences, including the Ontario Hospital Association, National Multiple Sclerosis Society Leadership Meeting, Hostelling International-USA National Council Meeting, the International Conference on Volunteer Administration, American Hospital Association – Association of Volunteer Resource Professionals National Conference, and the National Conference on Volunteerism and Service. Based in Denver, Colorado she was a founding board member of both the Colorado AIDS Project and Metro Volunteers – Denver’s Volunteer Center. Jill's many articles on volunteer engagement and board development have appeared in The Volunteer Management Review, Nonprofit Board and Governance Review, and E-Volunteerism Journal.
