About Jill Friedman Fixler

Jill Friedman Fixler is a nationally known leader recognized for her innovative approaches to strengthening nonprofit organizations. She combines her skills as a trainer, facilitator, public speaker, and coach to promote excellence in volunteer engagement, strategic planning, and board and organizational development for nonprofit organizations across the United States. Jill has more than thirty years of experience and the nonprofits with which she has worked include: health and human services organizations; community centers; religious organizations; government; and cultural, environmental, and animal welfare organizations. Jill has presented at numerous national and regional conferences, including the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Leadership Meeting and Hostelling International-USA National Council meeting, the International Conference on Volunteer Administration, American Cancer Society Western Regional Conference, and Volunteers of America Conference on Volunteerism. Based in Denver, she was a founding board member of both the Colorado AIDS Project and Metro Volunteers. Jill's many articles on volunteer management and board development have appeared in The Volunteer Management Review, Nonprofit Boards and Governance Review and E-Volunteerism Journal. Sandie Eichberg

Sandie Eichberg has more than twenty years experience in volunteer engagement with an emphasis on the Jewish community. She has taught webinars and online courses in volunteer engagement for synagogues, served as Program Director of a large synagogue, Volunteer Coordinator for Jewish Family Service, and Public Relations Director of a Jewish Federation. Her work in social service agencies resulted in the growth of the volunteer corps from 60 to 1,000 volunteers. Sandie co-wrote Boomer Volunteer Engagement: Collaborate Today, Thrive Tomorrow with Jill Friedman Fixler.  As an associate of JFFixler & Associates, Sandie specializes in synagogue volunteer engagement.

Joshua Fixler

Joshua Fixler has experience in grassroots organizing, young adult leadership development, engaging youth and young adults in social justice work, program development, and synagogue organizational management.  As an associate of JFFixler & Associates, Joshua specializes in Web 2.0 and the use of social networking technology for volunteer engagement.

Chuck Gross

Chuck Gross is principal of Worden Gross Public Relations and has more than 20 years experience working with for-profit and nonprofit institutions on strategic communications and image enhancement. Chuck is known for his creative approach to helping organizations gain a competitive edge. His areas of expertise include branding and positioning, marketing, public relations and community relations.

Linda Puckett

Linda Puckett served as Development Director and Executive Director for several human service organizations in Colorado prior to joining JFFixler & Associates. She has extensive knowledge and 30 years of experience in the areas of fund development, board development, financial management, personnel management, strategic planning, program design and evaluation, and conference and meeting planning. As an associate of JFFixler & Associates, Linda specializes in organizational and board assessment, survey design, and project management.

Jennifer Rackow

Jennifer Rackow's private practice and work with JFFixler & Associates focuses on performance measurement and entrepreneurial business planning. Jennifer brings ten years of partnership and program development experience from the for-profit, nonprofit and government sectors. As an associate of JFFixler, Jennifer regularly presents workshops at statewide, regional, and national conferences and specializes in performance measurement.

Christine Soto

Christine Soto served as the Vice President of Programs at The Denver Foundation where she had oversight of three grant making programs awarding $5 million annually. Prior to The Denver Foundation, Christine served as the Executive Director of Girls Incorporated of Metro Denver. Her 34 year career in the not-for-profit sector has included being a counselor/educator in a family planning clinic, a caseworker/volunteer manager in a mentoring program, and twelve years as an Executive Director. As an associate of JFFixler & Associates, Christine specializes in board development and strategic planning.

Beth Steinhorn

Beth Steinhorn currently serves as a nonprofit executive and consultant. She has over two decades of experience in nonprofit organizations, including museums, education agencies, religious organizations, and others. Whether serving as a leader in education, volunteer engagement, or marketing, she brings her expertise in evaluation and communications to ensure that organizations present clear and effective messages that fit the needs of their multiple audiences. As an associate of JFFixler & Associates, Beth specializes in marketing, communication and research.
