When designing customized services for clients, JFFixler Group pulls together a project team that taps into the talent, skills, experience, and expertise of our senior-level strategists. Based on project needs and design, the project teams include the following consultants:

Jill Friedman Fixler, President

Jill Friedman Fixler is a nationally known leader recognized for her innovative approaches to re-inventing, re-engineering, and re-vitalizing nonprofit and public sector organizations. She combines her skills as a trainer, facilitator, public speaker, and coach to promote excellence in volunteer engagement, strategic planning, and board and organizational development for organizations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Jill has more than 30 years of experience. The list of organizations with which she works includes: health and human services agencies; community centers; faith-based organizations; government; and cultural, environmental, and animal welfare organizations. Jill is a frequent presenter at national and regional conferences, including the Ontario Hospital Association, National Multiple Sclerosis Society Leadership Meeting, Hostelling International-USA National Council Meeting, the International Conference on Volunteer Administration, American Hospital Association—Association of Volunteer Resource Professionals National Conference, and the National Conference on Volunteerism and Service. Jill’s many articles on volunteer engagement and board development have appeared in The Volunteer Management Review,Nonprofit Board and Governance Review, and E-Volunteerism Journal. She is the author of Boomer Volunteer Engagement: Collaborate Today, Thrive Tomorrow and Boomer Volunteer Engagement: Facilitator’s Tool Kit and a contributing author to CharityChannel's You and Your Nonprofit: Practical Advice and Tips from the CharityChannel Professional Community.

Jennifer Rackow, Senior Strategist

Jennifer Rackow’s work with JFFixler Group focuses on performance measurement and entrepreneurial business planning. Jennifer brings 14 years of partnership and program development experience from the for-profit, nonprofit, and government sectors, including substantial work with the national service programs AmeriCorps*VISTA and Senior Corps. As a Senior Strategist for JFFixler Group, Jennifer has coached more than 50 pilot projects to success and often leads the development of the firm’s institutes, retreats, evaluation tools, and coaching strategies. She regularly presents volunteer engagement workshops at statewide, regional, and national conferences. Her most recently published articles include: The Volunteer Asset in an Uncertain Economy; The Individual Volunteer Plan: Developing Top Talent; andMeasuring Volunteer Program Results.

Beth Steinhorn, Senior Strategist

Beth has 25 years’ experience in nonprofit organizations as a consultant, lecturer, executive, marketing director, trainer, evaluator/researcher, and program director. She has worked with museums, education agencies, faith-based organizations, health and human services organizations, volunteer centers, and universities. She is a highly regarded researcher and speaker and has travelled throughout the U.S. and Canada as a lecturer. In addition to presenting at local and regional conferences, Beth has edited and published many articles and books, including co-authoring the book, Boomer Volunteer Engagement: Facilitator’s Tool Kit, with Jill Friedman Fixler and serving as editor for Jill Friedman Fixler’s book, Boomer Volunteer Engagement: Collaborate Today, Thrive Tomorrow. She is also a contributing author to CharityChannel'sYou and Your Nonprofit: Practical Advice and Tips from the CharityChannel Professional Community.She brings her expertise in evaluation and communications to ensure that organizations present clear and effective messages that fit the needs of their multiple audiences. As a Senior Strategist with JFFixler Group, Beth specializes in training, volunteer engagement, marketing, communications, and research.

Christine Soto, Senior Strategist

During Christine’s 35-plus year career in the not-for-profit world, she has worked as an executive director, fundraiser, volunteer engagement professional, and vice president of a large charitable foundation. She has served as a board member for dozens of nonprofit organizations, mentored new executive directors, and spoken to numerous large and small groups on topics related to philanthropy. As a Senior Strategist with JFFixler Group, Christine specializes in strategic planning and board and organizational development.

 

Linda Puckett, Director of Client Relations

Linda Puckett served as development director and executive director for several human service organizations in Colorado prior to joining JFFixler Group. She has extensive knowledge and 30 plus years of experience in the areas of fund development, board development, financial management, personnel management, strategic planning, volunteer engagement, program design and evaluation, and conference and meeting planning. As Director of Client Relations for JFFixler Group, Linda serves as a primary client liaison and project manager.

 

Joshua Fixler, Social Media Strategist

Joshua Fixler has four years of experience in grassroots organizing, young-adult leadership development, engaging youth and young adults in social justice work, program development, and synagogue organizational management. As a consultant for JFFixler Group, Joshua specializes in Web 2.0 and the use of social networking technology for volunteer engagement.
